Why should we eat Millets?

Millets are one of the oldest grains known to mankind, with some of them dating back to 2000-1000 BC !! In the olden days, our forefathers new how to eat Healthy and Sustainable food…and millets formed a major part of their diet, for they are Rich in Fibre, High in Nutrition, Gluten Free, Extremely at weight loss, and non-acid forming food. These characteristics made millets soothing and easy to digest. As a matter of fact, millets are one of the most digestible grains available. Millets are also particularly high in minerals like iron, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium; Ragi has 10 times the calcium content of rice !! In essence, for our ancestors, food was more than just what they ate, it was more a part of nature’s medicine-they ate healthy, they ate organic.
