VERMICELLI PAYASAM

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of atta vermicelli
  • 1 tea spoon ghee
  • 500ml milk
  • Slightly roast the atta vermicelli in one tea spoon ghee on a medium flame until golden brown. keep it aside
  • Boil 500ml milk, add the vermicelli to boiling milk
  • Add some jaggery (use your discretion)
  • Sprinkle roasted cashew bits and mix well.

Yummy Healthy dessert ready!!

Vermicelli Upma Ingredients

  • 1 pack atta vermicelli
  • one big onion
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 table spoon of chopped coriander leaves
  • Chopped Roasted cashews
  • 3 to 4 green chillies.

Method:

  • Slightly roast the atta vermicelli in a tea spoon of ghee on medium flame and keep aside.
  • In 1 table spoon ghee add sliced green chillies, chopped onions, curry leaves and a little coriander leaves. (Add in same order and fry)
  • Add 250 ml water, add a pinch of salt to taste.
  • Add the roasted vermicelli, cover the pan and leave it for a while.
  • Once done, garnish with a tea spoon of lime juice, chopped roasted cashews and the remaining coriander leaves.
